If you are a conservative, you can be angry at President Bush for overspending, especially for starting the seemingly endless train of bailouts we expect to continue in the next administration. It may be a long shot, but it's the only shot the American taxpayer's got. This $700 billion disaster was caused by the actions of politicians--Democratic politicians.
