Pink Ladies and Arlen Join Democrats to Pass Abomination Known As HR 1
Their names are Olympia Snowe (R-ME), Susan Collins (R-ME), and Arlen Specter (R-PA), and if you are a conservative, they are now your enemy.
The Pink Ladies and Arlen slithered over to the other side of the aisle today to vote for the gigantic so-called "Stimulus" bill--which, among many other things, re-sets the baseline budgets for virtually every department, and creates a huge new bureaucracy to track every speck of your health care data.
The bill now moves over to a conference committee, where it will be re-fashioned to please both the House and the Senate (but not, however, the Republicans) so that the forty-fourth president of the United States can get to work bringing about the end of our capitalist economy.

ahh, good old Arlen Sphincter, I wish he would just kick the bucket already. My state really sucks. Do you know we can't by beer anywhere here except at a bar (2 six-packs max) or a "beer distributor" where you have to buy an entire case? Makes it very hard to try all those yummy micro-brews and craft beers, especially when you drop 50 bucks on a case of something that ends up being nasty. Off subject, but it just irritates me, it's one of many stupid laws in Pennsylvania.
