Political Correctness Meets Scientific Illiteracy...
...and it's all wrapped up in a pretty government box.
Here is something I think everyone on this blog can agree on. There are some comments that are so stupid only an elected official could think them up.
In a Dallas County Commissioners' meeting, one of the Commissioners demanded an apology from another for his use of "racially insensitive" language. What did he say?
Commissioner Kenneth Mayfield, who is white, said it seemed that central collections "has become a black hole" because paperwork reportedly has become lost in the office.Commissioner John Wiley Price, who is black, interrupted him with a loud "Excuse me!" He then corrected his colleague, saying the office has become a "white hole."
That prompted Judge Thomas Jones, who is black, to demand an apology from Mayfield for his racially insensitive analogy.
That's right, boys and girls. Your tax dollars at work.
If you ask me, the proper term to be used here doesn't need "black" or "white"--but I'm pretty sure it would involve the word "hole."

Ha, I can't really add anything, you've said it all; the guy is a moron.
It's a shame that many of the topics we agree on are the ones that are really stupid and don't deserve the attention.

ltl,
Was the song meant to be satirical?
BTW, there is such a thing as a "white hole," isn't there? It would be bad for the office to be that, too, wouldn't it?

I think white holes are still theoretical.
Now....white ho'(s)....those are quite real and plentiful.
