Martin Sheen Is Pro-What???
This week, the University of Notre Dame will honor actor-activist Martin Sheen for his lifetime of activism on issues that concern the Catholic church--the rights of immigrants and the homeless, his opposition to capital punishment, his opposition to the war, and his support for the rights of the unborn.
Zzzzz....wait. What was that last bit?
Yes, unbeknownst to almost everyone outside the movement itself, Martin Sheen is and always has been pro-life.
From his opposition to the use of the RICO (Racketeering in Corrupt Organizations) Act to go after pro-life protesters to his occasional visible support for pro-life legislation in Congress and the states, Sheen's support for a cause most of his friends and colleagues oppose has always been appreciated.
While it may damage his reputation among his colleagues and some ill-informed fans, it's nice to see his loyalty to the cause recognized from time to time. Thanks, Notre Dame, for reminding us all again that there are a few bright lights of life still shining in the darkness of the death-cult of Hollywood.

Please, more celebrity news!
First Angelina Jolie, and now Martin Sheen. Who cares?
Liberal Hollywood...conservative Hollywood...so what? I don't ask my mechanic to fill out prescriptions, so why would I ask an actor about politics?
Someone believes the same thing that I believe, and he played a jocular Nazi-fighting gynecologist in a movie I saw! Hooray!
