New York Commie Lib Official Wants "Bullet Between The President's Eyes"

Can you even imagine a conservative official saying something like this about Slick Willie? Can you imagine the uproar in the press if a conservative official would have said this about Slick Willie?

As it happened, the spectacle of George Bush with a "bullet between the eyes" didn't even seem to bother Chuckie Schumer, the senior senator from New York that New York State Comptroller Alan Hevesi was introducing when he made this apparent threat on the life of the President of the United States.

In an outrageous remark that has at least one Republican calling for his resignation, New York State Comptroller Alan Hevesi said Thursday that a fellow New York Democrat would "put a bullet between the president's eyes if he could get away with it."

Introducing Sen. Charles Schumer at commencement exercises at New York City's Queens College, Hevesi began:

"The man who, how do I phrase this diplomatically, who will put a bullet between the president's eyes if he could get away with it. The toughest senator, the best representative. A great, great member of the Congress of the United States."

Hours later, Hevesi was forced to issue an apology.

Well, duh! He should have been arrested on general principles and should resign as a matter of course. A public official who is so small of mind, mean of spirit and possesses such poor judgment needs to be thrown out of office if he doesn't have the good sense to quit.

Perhaps Hevesi wasn't concerned about this threat on the president's life because his mentor Chuckie Schumer apparently saw nothing wrong with his remarks initially according to the NewsMax report on the incident:

Though Schumer spokeswoman Risa Heller said the senator was satisfied with Hevesi's apology, there's no indication that he objected to the remarks at the time.

You can bet that Chuckie would have been indignant as hell and screaming at the top of his lungs for the guy's resignation if the shoe were on the other foot and the comptroller were a Republican wanting to shoot William Jefferson the Philanderer between the eyes. In addition to Chuckie's righteous indignation, the liberal media would be smack dab in the middle of a rectal exam on the topic of the "coarseness of discourse on the Republican side of the aisle". As it is, all but the "fair and balanced" media will have forgotten this entire issue by the day after tomorrow.

This incident just serves to underscore the rampant hypocrisy on the left and in the liberal media.
