Spicing Up the National Republican Congressional Committee Dinner
One of the reasons I love New York is The New York Post. Oh, I know it is looked upon as a lowbrow tabloid by New York's liberal elite, but it has some of the best writers contributing to its pages: Michelle Malkin, William F. Buckley, Jr., George Will and Bob Novak, just to name a few. The same liberals who pooh-pooh the Post can be seen picking up their copy every morning, along with the requisite New York Times, Starbucks Black Eye and a Nova w/Cream Cheese Ess-a-Bagel. One's daily fix of The New York Post is indeed a guilty pleasure.
The guiltiest pleasure and an absolute must-read in the Post everyday is Richard Johnson's Page Six, there is no better source of scuttlebutt. Today's Page Six does not disappoint.
For all those prudes, who were put off by some of Laura Bush's jokes from a few weeks back at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, comes something else to get their panties in a twist.
Porn star Mary Carey (photo below) is set to spice up the National Republican Congressional Committee's "Salute to Freedom" dinner with President Bush next month. The former fringe candidate for California governor and star of "Lesbian Big Boob Bangeroo 2" and "Thumpin' Melons" will be the guest of her boss, Kick Ass Pictures president Mark Kulkis, and honorary chairman of the NRCC's Business Advisory Council. The prurient pair will also attend a lunch with top Bush advisor Karl Rove, who Carey hopes will give her tips on her planned run for California lieutenant governor next year.

Well, well, well, who says Republicans don't know how to have fun?
Oh Waiter, I'll have the melons for dessert.
