The Leftist Media Ignore Trial of Hillary's Campaign Fraud (Whoops, Finance) Director David Rosen

The trial of Hillary Clinton's chief campaign fundraiser began today with little fanfare in the liberal media -- in fact no fanfare in the liberal media. Check it out for yourself.

You really don't need to go much further to find evidence of a blatant liberal bias than the fact the no one, save conservative news sources, are covering this story at all. Period.

Imagine if you will that Tom DeLay had allegations of coordinating one of the largest campaign frauds in U.S. history swirling around him. Imagine if you will that the brother in law of Trent Lott, standing accused of bank fraud, was fitted with a wire and, in exchange for a possible reduced sentence, engaged in conversation with Tom DeLay's chief fundraiser regarding DeLay's involvement in the fraud. Imagine if you will that Tom DeLay, Trent Lott and Bill Frist had a whole laundry list of fundraisers associated with them who were either in jail or facing indictment for various fraud and campaign finance violations. Imagine now if you will, a liberal newspaper that, were these little scenarios true, wouldn't have wall to wall coverage of these story plastered in every available orifice of their newspaper. Can you imagine the wall-to-wall news specials, special reports, reporter "roundtables" and various and sundry "news analyses" on every liberal "alphabet" news network and the Clinton News Network if these scenarios were true?

But of course we know these scenarios aren't true. Tom DeLay stands accused only of doing less of the same thing every Democrat does -- practices that are common in the U.S. House and U.S. Senate. And for these common practices, the liberal media is giving him a media rectal exam while at the same time giving Hillary Clinton a total pass on possible involvement in true to life campaign fraud.

Since it doesn't fit their agenda, you can't count on the liberal media to pay attention to Hillary's possible involvement in this campaign fraud. So we'll have to update you from time to time on the progress in David Rosen's trial.

One of the most interesting aspects of this trial may be whether Rosen will roll over and play dead for the Clintons. Dick Morris said on Sean Hannity's show today the Clintons "employ people they can dump on when people turn on them." Obvious to anyone who has followed the Clinton corruption odyssey, but true nonetheless. Morris also thinks that they may be using Rosen's case as a test of whether the lame defense they have constructed for this campaign finance fraud will fly and if it does, they may employ a similar defense against the civil suit brought by Peter Paul. If Rosen agrees to be dumped on as many other Clinton cronies have in the past, this may work. If Rosen has an aversion to being the "dumpee" as some of the Reggie tapes seem to indicate, this could get interesting. We'll keep you updated with the relevant happenings and all my insightful analysis.

Steve - You can't expect the national media to take part in your own conspiracy theories.

For instance, try seaching google news but limit it to either the NY Times or FOX -

You'll see that even Fox separates itself from blaming the clintons directly, stating that the accusations mainly come from conservative websites.

Further, you'll notice that both the NY Times and Fox have the same number of articles on the top - 3.

Imagine that!
