A Birthday Wish...
On very rare occasions do I bring up anything personal.
Today, I passively turn the semi-useless age of 24. Woo hoo... I still can't rent a car in most states, and I will be spending most of the day at work, and the most of the night at school. Not my first choice for the way I wanted to spend my birthday, but I'll be doing two things that many people I ran into on Saturday we're hoping I was not doing. They would have loved it if I was out of work and not in school (though in there mind, I 'm stupid and can't read).
At this time last year, I was gleefully watching the US Military show the world that United States was not going to stop after toppling one terrorist regime, that we would continue the War on Terror as long as there was terror to defeat. This year, I get watch the President of the United States defeat President Kerry. I also enjoyed the fact that Pardon My English received over 1,000 hits yesterday; the "spiritual leader" of Hamas got blown away, literally; and Ayman al-Zawahr may be dead... two great birthdays in a row.
In any case, I present you with a list of three birthday gifts that the readers of Pardon My English can choose between if they are so inclined:
