Aaron's Bio

I've spent most of life living in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts--a state infamous for its liberalism. My four years of college at the University of Hartford was no improvement in that regard. Even when I entered college, politics meant little to me. Finally being able to vote and being away from my home state didn't help me become politically involved. Through my first year and half of college I could of cared less.

I suppose that my political intrigue didn't really occur until the infamous 2000 Presidential Election. Prior to that event in American History, politics was more something I didn't want to get messed up in. However, as I paid more attention to the issues, developed my own opinions, and found myself swinging to the right. After the whole controversy, I became slightly more active, and eventually joined the University of Hartford chapter of College Republicans. It was through them that I got participate in small events that helped shape me politically.

Though the need to express my opinions in some type of forum didn't interest me, now more than ever the need to help the conservative cause is great. I would often give my two cents to some conservative blogs, particularly under the alias "Java" on MattMargolis.com. After a while, I seemed to notice that my biggest struggle was wanting to write about a particular issue that was not being written about. While enjoying an evening with other right wing conspirators in the Loyal Citizens AOL Chat Room, I came up for the idea of PardonMyEnglish.com; a blog for commenters (a.k.a., "Lurkers") who don't administer their own blog. As the idea seemed to be well received, I asked for people interested in becoming a contributor to the blog to contact me.

Currently, I am Masters Degree candidate at the Boston Architectural Center--obviously, something totally unrelated to politics. Pardon My English is here to compliment the other great conservative blogs out there, and provide a place for people who, like me, wanted to the opportunity to write an article that other people comment on. This site is for the lurkers out there.

Update May 26, 2004:
I am now a syndicated columnist for a new political site for candidates called Political Gateway.
